Abu Dhabi — The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, is continuing his overseas visit. After visiting Jordan, Prabowo arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday (Feb. 26).
In the UAE, Prabowo met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
There, Prabowo and President MBZ were seen exchanging greetings and engaging in a warm conversation.
“Thank you for coming,” President MBZ said to President Prabowo.
Prabowo then reciprocated the greeting by expressing his gratitude and hugging President MBZ for the warm reception and welcome extended to him and the Indonesian delegation.
“Thank you for receiving me,” said Prabowo.
The two then held a solemn bilateral meeting in a relaxed atmosphere while waiting for the time to break the fast in the palace’s open garden.
This unique atmosphere, set against a backdrop of palm trees and Abu Dhabi’s signature sunset, further enhanced the warm, friendly ambiance.
This meeting is part of efforts to strengthen and expand the Indonesia–UAE strategic partnership, which has continued to grow in recent years.
In addition, the two leaders also discussed strengthening cooperation in various sectors, such as energy, increasing investment, and developing sustainable economic partnerships for the future.
