The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, attended the Closing Ceremony of the 17th National Farmers and Fishermen’s Week 2026, held in Gorontalo.
This event serves as an important milestone to strengthen the role of farmers and fishermen as the backbone of national food security, while also promoting increased productivity, innovation, and self-reliance in Indonesia’s agriculture and fisheries sectors.
Through the National Farmers and Fishermen Week (PENAS), the government continues to encourage collaboration among farmers, fishermen, business actors, and policymakers so that Indonesia’s agricultural and marine resources can provide even greater tangible benefits for the people’s welfare.
