Prabowo Briefs 400 Future Leaders of State-Owned Enterprises

Bogor, May 24, 2026 — President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto delivered a briefing to 400 participants of the first cohort of the Presidential Program for Future Leaders (P3MD) in Hambalang, West Java, on Sunday (May 24).

P3MD is a training platform for prospective leaders of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) initiated by Prabowo in collaboration with the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara). This program not only equips participants with professional skills but also fosters strong leadership character and integrity.

P3MD is designed in line with Prabowo’s vision of building better governance in SOEs by strengthening the quality of human resources.

This program is one of Prabowo’s efforts to prepare the best cadres to lead SOEs in the future.

The program’s primary focus is to develop leaders with intellectual capacity, decision-making skills, and a commitment to serving the nation and the state.

The program lasts nine months and is divided into three main phases. In the initial phase, participants undergo three months of character-building and discipline training.

Next, participants receive four months of training in management and decision-making strategies at Danantara Corporate University. The final phase consists of a two-month internship at ministries, government agencies, and state-owned enterprises.

Through this program, the government aims to prepare a new generation of SOE leaders capable of tackling global challenges, driving the transformation of state-owned enterprises, and strengthening Indonesia’s competitiveness in the future.

Rigorous Selection Process

One of the participants, Zhirazzi Dimas Prasetyo, from PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), said he was proud to be part of this program to develop future national leaders.

“Yes, I feel proud to be one of the 400 participants,” said Zhirazzi.

He explained that the P3MD selection process was extremely rigorous, with 6,000 applicants initially vetting down to the top 400 participants.

Zhirazzi noted President Prabowo’s message regarding the importance of ideological mindset. That message left the deepest impression on him during the orientation session in Hambalang.

Erlin Shofiana, a participant from PT Pupuk Indonesia, expressed her enthusiasm and pride at being able to take part in this program. In her view, the P3MD serves as a platform for leadership development while simultaneously strengthening the quality of Indonesia’s human resources.

“We hope this program continues to be supported until it achieves the outcomes envisioned by the President,” she said.

Aizna Syachkalita, a participant from PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, is optimistic that this program has a long-term goal: to prepare the nation for self-reliance, particularly through the development of high-caliber human resources.
